I think he might belong to folks on Bates. I think he’s the same dog that came for a visit when we were doing the neighborhood cleanup. I’ll try to remember where. One of the guys that does work in the neighborhood knows where he lives. That last time I told the owners that they needed to get tags on him with some contact information but they said that he’s an indoor dog and therefore doesn’t need them.

Am I the only one that finds it really odd that someone would spend so much money to renovate a property without definitive plans for it? Maybe I’ve become too suspicious, but it raises my “Spidey antennae.”

Ditto on Wayne Johnson. Great guy. Super professional. Showed up exactly at the time agreed to. Didn’t spend any time chatting. Fixed two electrical problems in three hours. And, that included a run to the hardware store to get some materials. Would absolutely use him again.

You can reach the owner, Mamuka G. Tsereteli, here: tserete@american.edu to weigh in on what you’d like to see in the space. I’ve found him to be very interested in and responsive to neighborhood feedback.

I understand that the space doesn’t have a permit now to serve food, only for retail, but if I wonder if he’d consider it if enough people begged him to consider a quaint resteraunt or cute cafe/bar.
